  • SKONEC has developed chemical accident response XR training content in collaboration with the Korea Chemical Safety Agency. By tracking the user's movement with an optical camera and matching it with a character in a virtual space in real time, an ultra-low-latency virtual environment is realized, enabling an immersive and realistic experience, and it is designed to train response to chemical accidents with about 70 case scenarios, allowing users to experience actions such as locking a hydrochloric acid valve in a physical environment and cleaning up leakage gas with a scrubber set.In 2018 and 2019, SKONEC's 'Chemical Accident Response Training Simulation' was cited and introduced at the Global OECD Forum, and in 2021, it was awarded the Minister of Environment Award in recognition of its development achievements.
